2023
In 2023 I assembled my first automatic watch, in my room in Brest, France. No training, no mentor: just online videos, a long run of failed attempts, and one thing that never left me. Choosing every component, assembling the movement, watching a mechanical piece come to life.
Day 28
When the store opened, nothing happened. Twenty-eight days, not a single order. Then one morning it came in. I ran downstairs to tell my parents, nearly fell down the stairs, and stood frozen for ten minutes, shaking. I have never forgotten that feeling.
2025
The orders stopped fitting on my desk. Chrono Mod became a company, Chrono Mod SAS, registered in France in July 2025, and assembly moved to our partner workshop in China. I kept what I could not hand over: the designs, the checks, and your messages.

Before you order
Cancel for free as long as your watch has not entered assembly: full refund, no questions. A configured watch is built for one person and cannot be returned once assembled. Catalogue models: 30 days to return. Every watch carries a 2-year warranty.
Your watch in its premium box, the 2-year international warranty card, and a tracking number from the moment it ships. Duties already paid: nothing to settle on delivery.
Not a replica, not a modified watch from another brand. Chrono Mod designs its own dials, every part is new, and our name is the only one on them.

I am Lino Vitale-Durand. I started this at 15, in my room, with a set of tools and a long run of failed attempts. Today our partner workshop assembles the watches, but I still design them, I still check them, and I still answer your emails and WhatsApp messages myself.
