Warranty

Every Chrono Mod watch comes with a 2-year warranty on the movement, from the day you receive it. The warranty applies worldwide, to the original buyer, in addition to your legal rights. Your order number is your proof of purchase: no card to register, nothing to fill in.

What is covered

• The movement. The calibre of your watch (TMI NH05, NH34, NH35, NH36, NH38, NH70, NH72 or VK63, or Miyota 8285, depending on the model): a watch that stops, a date or hand mechanism that fails, or a timing drift well outside the normal range of a mechanical movement, when none of this is caused by a shock.

What is not covered

• Everything other than the movement: the case, crystal, dial, hands, bezel insert, crown and case back, and water resistance. Your legal rights still apply (see below).
• Shocks, drops and crushing, and what they cause: a cracked crystal, bent hands, a movement that stops after an impact.
• Water damage.
• Normal wear: scratches on the crystal, case, bezel or bracelet, fading of the lume, marks from daily use.
• Straps, bracelets, clasps and spring bars: these are wear parts and are replaced at a charge.
• Timing within the normal range of a mechanical movement (for the TMI NH35, about minus 20 to plus 40 seconds per day as stated by the manufacturer).
• A watch opened, repaired or modified by anyone other than Chrono Mod or its workshop.
• The engraving, dial text and logo as you approved them before production.

How to make a claim

1. Write to contact@chrono-mod.com with your order number (for example #4520), a short description of the problem, and photos or a short video that show it.
2. We tell you what happens next: a fix you can do at home with our guidance, a part shipped to you, or a return to our workshop with the address and instructions. Please do not send the watch back before we ask you to.
3. If the problem is covered, the repair or replacement and the return shipping are free. If it is not, we send you a quote before any work is done.

We read and answer every message. Keep your order confirmation email: it is the only document you need.

Your legal rights

This warranty adds to the rights you have under the law of your country, such as the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity in the European Union. It does not replace or limit them.
