Modena Silicone Strap 20mm, 10 Colors, 6 Clasp Finishes
Lug width: 20 mm, tapering to 16 mm at the clasp · Strand lengths: 85 mm and 55 mm, the long strand trimmable to your wrist · Material: silicone, soft matte finish
DESCRIPTION
The Modena wears differently on a colour. This silicone strap is cut for its case: straight tips that meet the lugs flush, a body that tapers from 20 mm down to 16 mm, and a steel slider clasp you adjust by hand. Sixty combinations, one watch.
The curved end links are what make it fit
Two small curved steel pieces come in the box. They sit between the case and the strap, their inner edge hollowed to hug the round Modena case, so the strap meets the watch without the gap you get when a flat strap is pushed against a round case. That is the difference between a strap that looks fitted and one that looks borrowed.
It is also why this strap belongs to the Modena and to nothing else in the range. The end links are cut for that case profile.
Will it fit my watch?
No: Classic Date, GMT and DeptMaster. Those are also a 20 mm lug width, so they are the ones people get wrong: their cases need a strap with a curved tuck-under tip, and this one is straight cut with separate end links. They have their own silicone strap. The Odyssey is 21 mm, and the Horizon and Apex take a case-specific integrated strap listed under their own name.

The clasp slides, so the fit is yours
The steel clasp carries a slider mechanism: push it along its track and the effective length changes by a few millimetres, with no tool and nothing to unpin. That is the adjustment that matters, the one you make at four in the afternoon when your wrist has swollen half a size.
For the coarse fit, the long strand is cut to length. Trim it at the moulded marks with a blade, one notch at a time, and stop when the clasp sits centred under your wrist.
Ten colours, six metals
Classic Black, Slate Grey, Arctic White and Navy Blue for the days the watch should stay quiet. Espresso Brown for a dressier read. Sunset Orange, Crimson Red, Emerald Green, Signal Yellow and Turquoise when it should not. Each comes with a brushed steel, black PVD, yellow gold, rose gold, or one of two two-tone clasps that pair steel rails with a polished gold cover plate. The end links ship in a finish matched to the clasp you choose.
Not sure which colour?
Black and Slate Grey disappear on the wrist and go with everything, which is why they sell first. Navy Blue and Espresso Brown are the dressy ones. Turquoise, Signal Yellow and Sunset Orange are the ones people ask about. At this price most customers take two: one that hides, one that shows.
Silicone that stays quiet
Soft matte silicone with a single shallow ridge running down each strand as its only relief. It does not shine under office light, it does not hold sweat, and it comes back to shape after a hot day.

Fitting
Will it fit your watch?
A strap fits by its lug width: the gap between the two lugs, where the strap meets the case. Measure that gap once, and you'll know which strap works on your watch forever.
Chrono Mod lug widths
- 20 mm Classic Date 39 & 36 mm, DeptMaster, GMT, Modena
- 17 mm Classic Date 31 mm
- 21 mm Odyssey
- Integrated Horizon & Apex, case-specific strap
Not a Chrono Mod? Most straps here use standard spring bars and fit any watch with the same lug width. Quick-release versions fit by hand, no tools needed. For the others you need a spring-bar tool, the same one included in the box with every Chrono Mod watch.
How to measure your lug width
- 1 Turn the watch over and find the gap between the two lugs, where the strap meets the case.
- 2 Measure that gap in millimetres, with a ruler or a caliper. Round to the nearest millimetre.
- 3 Match it to the width listed in the specifications above, then pick your colour and finish.
- 4 Still unsure? Email team@chrono-mod.com with your model and we'll confirm before you order.

Build the watch to go with it
This strap was made to sit on a Chrono Mod. Start from any model and take it to the extreme:
Let's be clear
Parts we'd put on our own watches
An accessory is easy to get wrong: a millimetre off, a clasp that rattles, a finish that doesn't match. Everything we list here is chosen to live on a Chrono Mod, and checked before it reaches you.
Chosen, not badged
We don't rebrand whatever a catalogue sends us. Every strap here is picked, ordered and checked by us before it goes on the site.
Sized for our cases
Widths, clasps and finishes are matched to the models we build, so it sits flush against the case instead of almost right.
A real person behind it
Inspected before it ships. And if something is off when it arrives, you write to us and a human answers, often the founder himself.
Chosen for our watches. Signed Chrono Mod.

Yes, the strap ships complete with the buckle or clasp shown in the photos. Where a finish is selectable, pick it above before adding to cart: it changes the buckle, not the strap colour.
